TrueTransparency is a simple utility that will make windows’ borders on your desktop look as if they were translucent or even fully transparent. In fact, what the program does is brings Vista-like transparency effects into your opaque and boring XP window borders.
This free and effective tool requires no installation, and will just place a convenient and discreet icon in your system tray, which will display a context menu that allows you choose any of the six skins available. Each of them will apply a different degree of transparency to the outer borders of your windows, from a “fully transparent” to “slightly translucent” effect. Thus, you will be able to give to your Windows XP’s window frames an attractive Windows Vista look and feel.
This small and free utility will take up very little of your system’s resources, and can be easily switched off just by exiting the application through the icon provided. It can be set to launch itself automatically at startup, and it comes with a long list of languages to help you customize the menu.
